Why ADK Heritage Law?

Knowing where you come from helps to guide you to where you are going.  The things, attitudes, and ways of being that were passed down to you is the heritage you will pass on to your loved ones when it’s your turn. Your heritage helps anchor you in this world, and the sum of your life’s experience will be added to that irreplaceable treasure for the generations that come after you.

In its most basic form, estate planning is a process of creating documents to say who will get your money and your stuff when you die.  In its best form, estate planning is a way to communicate not just what you have, but what it all means to you.  As a firm, we know how important it is to be able to send these last messages to your loved ones. That is why our meetings are a little longer and our questions may be a little more personal, all so that our service is tailored more closely to the best fit for you.

Our founder and principal attorney, Amy Dilbeck Kiesewetter, Esq., is a fourth-generation Ventura County native, born and raised in Santa Paula.  (Her grandfather, who passed away in 2015 and is featured in the photo below, can be seen sitting in the front row holding the “White Cross” box label at Limoneira packing plant, 1949!)  She has an intimate understanding of the local area and culture.  She is proud to be able to bring a high level of service to her hometown community.
